The Pour House was packed for The Hold Steady on Sunday night. Throngs of eager fans tempted fate about showing up to work the next day and drank and danced all night. More of an indie band than the regular Americana music the Pour House gets, the New York band drew a different crowd, the kind that have vision plans on their insurance. A full house in August — you know it’s sweltering inside when you step outside in the summer weather to cool off.
These shots capture much of the enthusiasm during both the Loved Ones and the Hold Steady sets for sure. Nice ones, Josh.
