I know a lot of you already know about the incredible work Douglas Panzone (a.k.a. The Sheepman) has done on James Island, but I just recently got the chance to see them myself. Tucked away behind Buffalo South, Panzone has a personal gallery of at least seven huge murals that have been painted, painted over, and added to for the past five years. The most recent boxing mural was finished just a few months ago with the help of a friend. His Krylon skills are sick and the sightlines you get walking around the various angles are well thought out. The next time you are heading out to Folly beach, stop by the shopping center and take a cruise behind Buffalo South and see for yourself. Easily some of the best work I’ve seen in a while.
